It is incredible to witness what the young Albanians can do in three months of activities from storytelling, filmmaking, street, and podcast across the city led by the partnership of three leading CSOs in Albania! Social Contract Institute (SCI) together with People in Focus (PIF) and DoArt managed to set Tirana on fire (the good one) in three months. These activities come as part of Artivist Stafetë, the new addition to the MasterPeace portfolio of projects unleashing the talents of youngsters flipping the narrative from ‘negativity’ to ‘creativity’. The Artivist Stafetë project is a project funded under the grant for Support to Active Citizenship by the European Commission and is funded by the European Union, awarded to MasterPeace and Stichting art.1, along with their Albanian partners Open Mind Spectrum Albania (OMSA) and ACT.

243 young people from the region of Durrës were given the golden opportunity of participating in activities implemented by Youth Center “Perspektiva”, Youth Activities Center, and HASTE. These activities were carried out under the banner of the Artivist Stafetë project, funded by the European Union, awarded to MasterPeace and Stichting art.1, along with their Albanian partners Open Mind Spectrum Albania (OMSA) and ACT.

Elbasan is the third city to carry the flaming torch of Artivism. Qendra për Edukim & Sport “Skills”, in collaboration with the Information Network and Active Citizenship association and the “Për zhvillimin psiko-social dhe kulturor të fëmijëve dhe të rinjëve” association located in Elbasan granted the young Albanians of this municipality the opportunity of learning about and practicing activism through art forms like storytelling, film-making, and podcasts in the framework of The Artivist Stafetë project.
