European Commission Support to Active Citizenship
‘Artivist Stafetë Project’ aims to improve the environment for active citizenship and civic participation by providing CSOs with tools to grant marginalized groups and side-lined voices in Albania with cultural instruments, empowering each participant to use artivism as a driver for change”
The project supports the goals of stimulating activism through capacity building
(artivism and soft-skill methodologies).
The project objectives
Engage, connect and empower youth and women through CSOs and grassroots active citizenship initiatives through artivism and creative hubs
Target Groups
Group One
Local CSOs and grassroots active
citizenship initiatives. Non-State, not-for-profit entities
Youth (18-30 year olds).
Subgroup 1: Young LGBTIQ+
Subgroup 2: Young Women
9 Cycles/ 8 cities
During the 27 months, 8 Albanian towns and cities will participate in a creative advocacy adventure where individuals from the civil society sector will receive training in storytelling, filmmaking and podcast production to become artivists: activists through the arts.
